this is one of my favorite little paintings - inspired by old patchworks and created new and intuitively to music - I think it was the tune "don't worry be happy"song - and I forgot to mention : I painted it with molten, pigmented beeswax and a small tacking iron..........

I always loved quilts and patchwork, but the German in mir does not let me take perfectly good fabric just for the sake of cutting it into pieces and then stitching it back together again... hm..so I started to paint patchworks....

Long time no posting... but back I am..........

it seems the older I get the more abstract I like and paint - it is just so much fun to just play with the shapes and colors... here I painted on artist card stock - I felt a little like Spring... yellow and blue, my favorite color combination at this time.....
