Framed Commission - Happy Ending!
"Romantic Roses" was created for an art collector who wanted to fill this magnificent frame - actually three magnificent frames --- I didn't have a clue what they would be like..... and I was a little nervous about it -
but all is well - art collector is happy and so am I...... can you imagine three similar paintings like this on display??? Contemporary Expressions with an ancient technique. ....I love it!

Encaustic Art
Encaustic Art -
Over 2000 years ago the ancient Greek, Egyptians and Romans
used beeswax as a painting medium.
It was melted, colored with earth pigments
and used to create pictures.
These images are produced by melting
colored beeswax onto an iron
and applying it to a non-absorbent surface.
The resulting layers create unique and surprising images.
I love to paint - I love to paint because it makes me happy!
